    Back to top button

    Ray Dar
      Hi,

      I want to have a button at the bottom of the page that makes the page go back to the top. How do I do this please?

      Cheers

            I usually build all my pages where the entire page is contained within a
            wrapper div (<div id="wrapper">).

            So - I use this -

            <a href="#wrapper">Return to top of page</a>

              Hi Murray,

              Wow! That makes life easy. I've put the wrapper code just aftrer the HTML tags in my page. Is this right?

              Then I put the second line of code where I want the link to be. This seems to have worked well.

              I'll have to read up on this. Is it possible that whereever I put the first bit of code is where the page will move to?

              Cheers

                No.

                Change this -

                <body>

                to this -

                <body>
                <div id="wrapper">

                and this -

                </body>

                to this -

                </div>
                </body>
