In Illustrator CS4, there is a preference setting that allows you to double-click a group to edit the contents of that group. When you double-click the group, everything else get's "ghosted out" so that it's obvious what you're working on.
Is there a way I can turn the ghosting behaviour off? So that I can still double-click to edit a group, but instead of ghosted white see everything at it's correct color?
Try to click "layer " in the left upper corner after you double-click the group (when you are in the isolation mode).
