    I7-980X and PPBM4

Well nobody else did it so I had to invest heavily in a i7-980x CPU and see what I could do with my Premiere Pro BenchMark for CS4. with appropriate overclocking and a special trick I was able to temporarily take the crown from King Harm.. I do not believe that CS4 was designed well for multithreading beyond four cores.  I am eagerly awaiting CS5.and CUDA.

          Well done Bill. Congratulations.

With all your efforts, setbacks and hours and sometimes nights spent, you deserve the GOLD medal. I have to concede my place after about a year

but I'll be back... Meanwhile I'm gonna take a on your success.

            NICE

            only a couple seconds faster.

maybe with CS5 like you said it will make a bigger difference.

Harms disk setup must make a big difference.

I cant wait to build a system for CS5 since my score is second from last at 329.6 compared to your score of 34.7 almost 10 times faster.

            Fun times ahead:  Glenn
