I'm not sure that I understand what you're looking for. Trapcode 3D Stroke will do some amazing things but a line is, by definition, is defined by two points and may be oriented in 3D space but it will be flat. A curve may be either 2D or 3D. A little more description or a photo or sketch of what you're trying to do would be helpful.
thanks for that reminder. I've used that technique often but not very recently. the results, with some tweaking, were exciting and far surpassed my expectations. Parenting different light objects to the particle system created fabulous Tinkerbell-style illusions inside rooms and flying down hallways.
