I have the same problem. Every time I try to open a pdf file I get an error message saying something to the effect of "ínternet explorer has stopped working". When windows kicks in to try to find a solution to the problem each time it is unsuccessful and I lose the website I was working on. Its a nightmare! I've gone onto the adobe website and dowloaded the latest version of pdf but it hasn't made any difference. I see that support has offered an answer to another user with a similar problem, but I don't understand the answer. Can you give me some help in layman's terms please? Cheers Lorna

I can't understand how this happened. I guess you have to be careful what you download from the internet as the downloads seem to come with toolbar add ons that clog up the settings on your computer. I will keep your solution to hand in case something like this happens again in the future. It's okay if you've been formally trained in computer use. I'm afraid I missed the boat with computing in school.
