I have lots of ebooks, those from a year ago or more downloaded with attractive multicolored covers. Then I had a hard disk failure. The browser on this repaired computer blocks the covers of downloaded books, so all I get in the ebooks library is a white rectangle. The text of the book is there, but I'd like to see the covers. I've been fiddling with the Internet Explorer tools trying to force the browser to allow the download of the pictoral covers. No luck, and I have a ebooks library full of white rectangles that I have to open to figure out what they are.
Any suggestions for how I can change the settings in order to see the covers? I have good security software so I don't need Microsoft to keep blocking things - but how do I stop it?
