I don't think there is an equivalent, but because of the way the renderers
are positioned and sized in Spark, it isn't as necessary. You can take the
event.target and walk up the parent chain until you hit a renderer.
Thanks Alex, It seems like I'm able to access the item renderer Class Factory but not the instance of actual item that is the target of the mouse event. I guess in my example, the event.target is the DataGroup that contains the list of item renderers. Any other suggestions?
