    Issues with Spry menu bar

    jlm226

      I am in the process of redesigning my company's website and am having issues with the Spry menu bar.

      The first issue has to do with alignment. In the main row of the menu bar, I want everything to be centered but on the submenus, I want them to be aligned to the left. The first submenu is aligned the way I want it to be, the second one is aligned to the left but with a bigger margin and the last one (under Publications) is centered. How do I get a consistent look for each submenu?

      The second issue involves font size. I want to make the font bigger in my menu bar because it looks really small in the browser (Explorer) but when I make the font bigger, it bumps the menu bar onto a second row. Is there a way I can enlarge the font without having it go to a second row? Also, the button Human Resources is two lines, I used the 'no-wrap' feature but it still does this. How can I fix that?

      Also, if I want to have this menu bar on all the pages, can I just copy and paste or is there something else I have to do?

      I've included Spry menu bar code so you can see what I'm talking about.

      Spry menu bar:

      * The outermost container of the Menu Bar, an auto width box with no margin or padding */
      ul.MenuBarHorizontal
      {
      margin: 0;
      padding: 0;
      list-style-type: none;
      font-size: 100%;
      cursor: default;
      width: 900px;
      }
      /* Set the active Menu Bar with this class, currently setting z-index to accomodate IE rendering bug: http://therealcrisp.xs4all.nl/meuk/IE-zindexbug.html */
      ul.MenuBarActive
      {
      z-index: 1000;
      }
      /* Menu item containers, position children relative to this container and are a fixed width */
      ul.MenuBarHorizontal li
      {
      margin: 0;
      padding: 0;
      list-style-type: none;
      font-size: 11px;
      position: inherit;
      text-align: center;
      cursor: pointer;

      float: left;
      white-space: nowrap;
      width: 11em;
      font-weight: 900;
      }
      /* Submenus should appear below their parent (top: 0) with a higher z-index, but they are initially off the left side of the screen (-1000em) */
