I am using my Panasonic still camera (FZ35/38) to record AVCHD Lite 720p videos with h264 codec. For the PAL model, the movies are 50p(CCD output is 25p)
Although I don't have a blu-ray writer currently, I want to setup the project which is closest to original files, edit it and then export it to SD DVD's until I buy one.
So should I go with AVCHD 720p25 or 720p50 as the project template? Is there much file size difference between them?
Thanks in advance
I really never did what you're asking, but if you have a lot of movement in shots ( sports ? ) I would use the higher frame rate...just for less blur etc
Then set your project to what your source is...
I really just wanted to reply cause I have this weird robotic attraction...
what's this mean?
CCD output is 25p
??? you cant shoot at 50 fps?
Yes, I am trying to learn what my source files are exactly. It says CCD output is 25p on manual, but maybe the movie file is created as 50p with interpolation?
