      Does no response to a post generally mean that it is impossible and can't be done?

          no, it usually means the post is unintelligible (because of a poor grasp of actionscript and/or english) or contains such a lengthy display of code that no one is willing to read it.

          generally, tasks impossible to complete with flash will receive a response indicating that's the case and often contain help regarding additional programs (like wrappers) or classes that can extend flash and accomplish the desired task.
