page looses css format on other computers

I am new to dreamweaver and web design.  I created the site below and it looked fine in the ie browser preview.  I published it to the web and it looked fine(on the same computer I used to make it with).  However, I have viewed it on 2 different laptops(all with ie browser).  And the spacing between elements is way off, my horizontal spry menu is doing a stair step thing and some images float off the screen to the right.

I used a premade template to construct the page.  I'm beginning to think I used the wrong template or somehow 'broke' the template.  The only thing I know to do now is start with a new template and rebuild all the pages.  However, I want to make sure I don't make the same mistakes.

      1.  Is there some relatively simple way to salvage the pages i've made?

      2.  If I need to rebuild the pages what template should I use?  I'm pretty sure I'd use one with one column(sideshow), a header(company logo) and a footer(spry horizontal menu).  Would I use a "fixed" layout or "elastic"?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
