When you test locally is the swf embedded in an html page or not? If it is not, then does the swf play properly if you link directly to it when testing on the web instead of thru an html page that embeds it?
Thanks for your question.
It is not embedded when I test it locally and when I link directly to the swf it does not work at least as far as this specific problem.
I write to an XML file via PHP using send and load, and this works; however, as long as I maintain the connection to the site or the swf directly loading the xml doesn't bring in the newly written nodes. If I exit and reconnect then the nodes that were just written are loaded and found.
Looks like your XML is cached. You either need to append a random variable to xml request or write no-cahe headers in PHP.
Yes I figured that out. Doh!
