That is what appears in the browser address bar (followed by the file location and name) when I try to open a PDF file from inside IE. When I try to open a file by clicking on a link from a web page it starts to open, then closes, says it has recovered the web page, then puts up the same message as when i try to open a file on my hard drive. These problems do not occur when I use Opera (my browser of choice). The problem also does not occur if I open IE and select "Start Without Add-Ons", in these cases the PDF files open up just fine. I changed to Reader 9.3.XX and the problem persisted. Uninstalled and moved back to 8.2, same problem. I am running Windows XP SP3 on this machine. Thanks in advance for any help.
