I've installed in my Eclipse the trial version of the Flash Builder 4 plugin and when I try to open the source code of some Flex class I get the following error (in this case specific to the Event class):
Source could not be found for flash.events.Event in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4 Plug-in\sdks\4.0.0\frameworks\libs\player\10.0\playerglobal.swc.
The playerglobal.swc file contains only an SWF file and an XML file.
Do you know how can I view the classes within Eclipse?
A tip: The error message that I got from Eclipse could not be copied! I had to type it by myself, where can I send a request for improvement?
Classes inside playerglobal.swc and airglobal.swc are Flash Player APIs and they are not open source.
thank you for the clarification
Hi, I have a simmilar problem but is for another swc:
Source could not be found for mx.core:IUIComponent in C:\.....sdks\4.0.0\frameworks\libs\flash-integration.swc.
Is that not open source too ? Are all classes not accessible like this not open source ?
Also, I've read about mx_internal varialbes, and some people suggest going through the source code to find them, but when that's not possible what should one do to identify them, debug maybe ?
