    FlashVars problem: var names are here, but where is their value?

    Level 7
      I am passing some variables from html to flash using the flashVars parameter.

      In the first frame of the flash file I have the following actionScript:

      flashVars=new Array();
      for (var item in this){
      if (item!="flashVars" && item!="$version"){
      flashVars[item]=this[item];
      }
      }

      For what I understand, this script creates an array with the passed variables.
      Then, using a for loop, I can go through the array:

      for(var someVar in flashVars){
      doSomething;
      }

      But the problem is that the value of someVar is the NAME of the passed variable, not its value!

      how do I retreive their value?....

      I'm lost.
