You put the mov file on the page, but you didn't define what application should be opening the movie. The code should look like:
<object classid="clsid:02BF25D5-8C17-4B23-BC80-D3488ABDDC6B" codebase=" http://www.apple.com/qtactivex/qtplugin.cab" height="100" width="100">
<param name="src" value="(EmptyReference!)" />
<param name="autoplay" value="true" />
<param name="controller" value="false" />
<embed height="100" pluginspage=" http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/" src="(EmptyReference!)" type="video/quicktime" width="100" controller="false" autoplay="true"></embed>
First of all, thanks for your help, I used the code you sent and replaced (Empty Reference!) with the source file, but the Quicktime Q just flashed for a couple of seconds and that was it. Any ideas?
Anyone else? The Quicktime Q flashes and nothing else happens? ANY advice would be greatly appreciated, this has been kicking my *** for a couple months now.
That code was generated with the old GoLive CS2 app. I use that mostly for generating this type of code anymore since DW does everything but some of the absolute basics which I feel is still a disappointment of the program.
Just replace the (EmptyReference) with the link to your quicktime file and you should be good to go.
