    Login Behavior Part Two...

    rossmgreenberg
      So, I finally figured out how to get the actual record number selected with the login, and I'm sticking it into a session variable. I'm surprised that DreamWeaver doesn't make it easier!

      I ended up having to go into the login behavior and modify the source code! When I do so the login behavior seems to disappear although the code does not: how can I modify the code and not lose the "log in" behavior in the behaviors window?

          You'd have to rewrite the code so that the login behavior's regular
          expressions still match the code,
          most regular expressions contain expressions for a negative match on
          linebreaks: ([^\r\n]*?)
          so appending your changes without inserting a linebreak should work most of
          the time.

            That makes perfect sense! What is the best way of inserting a line delimiter on the same line?

              in PHP, JSP, ASP_JScript and ASP.NET_CS you can insert a semicolon (;)

              doThis();doThat();

              in ASP_VBS and ASP.NET_VB you can use the colon (:)

              doThis():doThat()
