It would be great if there was a button that would take the selected items (gradents, styles, etc) and append it to a library file. Right now it just saves over the file instead of adding to that file.
To do this right now you have to do the following...
1) open preset manager and select items
2) save as a new file
3) close the manager
3) replace style library with the one you would like to add the new styles to
4) load the new library
5) click append
6) save library
That takes way to long...
To append to a preset file, Photoshop still has to open the entire file.
And the steps are
1) load the old preset file
2) select the presets you want to save (old and new), you could also rearrange them at this point
4) optionally delete the presets you aren't using
Not nearly so complicated.
I have 563 style libraries at this time. I would have to load them all delete all the ones that are not red saves them, load all 563 files delete all the ones that are not green save them, load all 563 styles...sounds complicated.
No, there's no reason why you'd have to load all of them.
You only have to load the few you want to use, or modify.
Why are you trying to make this more compilicated than it is?
