To slipstream your installer up to 9.3.2, you'll need to start from 9.3.0 and then use 9.3.2. Skip 9.3.1 because it was a Security update while 9.3.2 is a quarterly update and includes 9.3.1's changes.
Create an AIP and then patch the .msi in the AIP to 9.3.2.
I used this MSIEXEC.exe command this morning VIA a GPO and installed on both 9.3.0 &
MSIEXEC.EXE /update \\xxxxxxx\xxx\adobereader932\adberdrupd932_all_incr.msp /quiet
This must be put in the login script under the Computer system in the GPO.
I just used Notepad and created a *.bat file, yes not good as a *.MSI but it works.
I get the same error message when I attempt to apply the patch to a network share for both Reader 9.3.0 and 9.3.1. Upgrade patch cannot be installed
Anyone have answers specific to this version patch? I'm familiar with the standard msiexec syntax for applying patches, but it isn't working. Has anyone successfully applied and deployed 9.3.2 without using a batch script?
Looks like they figured out that error message in the comments of the article I previously linked to:
You have to make a transform and leave Updates enabled.
