I'm new to DW and having a couple of issues. I'd like to create a button for a website in html code that can be put on other people's blogs.
The following is an example of the kind of code I'd like to do: <a href="http://www.manylittleblessings.com" target="_blank" ><img src="http://www.manylittleblessings.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/mlb_button125.gif" alt="Many Little Blessings" height="125" width="125" /></a>>
I know how to create a html form, and then add an image and then a link to the image. But when I do this and then upload it the file is something like this: www.site.com/button.html
If I put it into the html coding above, the image doesn't show up at all.
But if I upload the image only as a jpg, I can't get it to work either - I'm not sure what the url address is for the jpg image so that might be part of the problem.
I'd be really grateful for any help.

Where? In design view? Have you enabled remote file viewing? Have you tried previewing the page?
I just worked out my mistake - I typed in the image address wrong. Its up and working now!
could it be you should "turn around" your entry, like that?
<a href="http://www.manylittleblessings.com" target="_blank"><alt="YourImageName" src="YourDirPictures/YourPicture.jpg" width="210" height="180">
Oh sorry, you found it already
