Reader was updated today (to 9.3.2) on my Windows 7 computer. I got no error messages, but now the following don't work: Windows Explorer (it freezes computer & warm boot must be done) when accessed, Control Panel. I tried to use Windows System Restore, Windows Uninstall program and Adobe Restore Previous Version, but none would work.
Any help would be appreciated.
I cannot imagine that the Adobe Reader update would cause this.
Can you try to check with the Task Manager (Processes tab) if anything uses high CPU when this freeze occurs?
If that does not yield any information, try Sysinternals' Process Monitor.
