    Help with current tabs...

    pancake3121

      Hello!

      beginner here...

      I'm having a little trouble with my current tab in IE.  The plan was to have my current tab remain a different color than the other in order to indicate the current page.  And in firefox and safari it works just fine but in IE the current tab does not stay a different color.

      Here's the code I'm using...

      #nav li a:link, #nav li a:visited {

           background-color:#090;

           padding: .2em .5em;

           display: block;

           font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;

           font-size: 100%;

           color: #FFF;

           text-decoration: none;

           line-height: 1.2em;

      }
      #nav li a:hover {

           background-color: #00F;

           color: #FFF;

      }
      #nav li a.current, #nav li a.current:hover, #nav li a.current:active {

           color: #F60;

           cursor: default;

           background-color: #FFFED7;

      }

      any ideas?   should I have some type of seperate code just for ie?

      Thanks
