    onClick vs onMouseDown - huh?

    Level 7
      According to :
      http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/interact/scripts.html

      onclick = script [CT]
      The onclick event occurs when the pointing device button is clicked over an
      element. This attribute may be used with most elements.

      onmousedown = script [CT]
      The onmousedown event occurs when the pointing device button is pressed over
      an element. This attribute may be used with most elements.

      Huh? What's the difference?

          The difference is between "pressing" and "pressing and releasing" the
          button

            Then the question becomes... what's the difference between onclick and
            onmouseup? :-S

              That would be
              pressing and releasing button while over an element
              vs
              dragging your mouse over it with the button pressed and then releasing it

                OK, I think I've got them all covered now. Thanks, Joris!
