      Hi

      Im wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for my problem.

      I have a set of buttons using the code below

      // C Buttons
      C1a_btn.onRollOver = function (){
      _root.CBMain.gotoAndStop(2);
      this.gotoAndPlay("over");
      }
      C1a_btn.onRollOut = function (){
      this.gotoAndPlay("out");
      }
      C1a_btn.onRelease = function (){
      gotoAndPlay("S1");
      }

      The button is a movieclip. When rollover the movie clip goes to "over" and also directs movie clip CBMain to go to a different frame.
      On rollout it goes to "out"
      On release it send the main timeline to "S1".
      This all works fine.

      My problem. When the movie gets to S1, I require a movie clip ( CBSub) that is on S1 to go to a specific frame

      How can I reference this in my function?

      Ive tried

      C1a_btn.onRelease = function (){
      _root.CBSub.gotoAndStop(2);
      gotoAndPlay("S1");
      }

      which doesn't work.
      Is this because the movie doesnt recognise the CBSub movieclip until it is visible?

      What would be the best way to be able to control the CBSub movieclip when it does become visible?

      Thanks for any help/assistance offered

      Regards
