I have some sound files in my timeline that decided to stop working.
Some is not a supported codec. What is the codec and format?
Thanks for the reply.
At the moment I am at home, and not at the work station so I can not find the info on the codec... but I think the codec is not the issue, because these sound files worked before, and these are in the same format as all the other ones, exported with the same program. They worked for a while, then just stopped working, but they play fine in the project window.
Do you still think it is a problem with the codec? If so i will check it tomorrow.

Work through all of the steps (ideas) listed at http://ppro.wikia.com/wiki/Troubleshooting
If your problem isn't fixed after you follow all of the steps, report back with the DETAILS asked for in the FINALLY section, the questions at the end of the troubleshooting link... most especially the codec used... see Question 1
Losing sound on a timeline audio file happens from time to time with my sys. Very annoying. Apparently the file loses its link or whatever. I fix it by moving the audio file to another track. If it then plays, I move it back to its original track, and it will usually play. If that doesn't, then I copy it and place the copy on the original track. That always seems to work. Why? I don't have a clue.
