    User Agents and reporting

    Level 7
What does Firefox typically come up with for it's user agent?

I just received this response my a host:

      Hello,

It would definitely seem like your copy of FF is not reporting its version
      correctly:

      Your configuration:

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET
      CLR 2.0.50727)

That's the user-agent for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0.
