This is more a product feedback, but I don't know where else to submit it.

I have the following issues:

1. It does not remember the search options (I only use the language reference).

2. Sometimes it takes a long time to render the content (Q6600 CPU).

3. It's not possible to search the page (CTRL-F in the old version).

What do you think of the new help system?

Please go ahead and vote for FLEXDOCS-1278.

There's an update for the Adobe Help Beta that adds Find functionality. Click on the install badge here http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/communityhelp/.

Find info: http://blogs.adobe.com/mallika/2010/03/adobe_community_help_client_-_dont_forget_to_use_ctrlf.html

Community Help blog: http://blogs.adobe.com/mallika/community-help/.

As Mayank referenced, the best way to give the team feedback is to log bugs at http://bugs.adobe.com and choose the Flex Documentation project.

Thanks guys. I've signed up for the bugtracker, voted for the issue and even reported a bug.

Great. Another helpful thing to do for the folks on the forum is to post the link to bugs that you file, in case we want to follow up. It also encourages people to read the bug and possibly vote it up. It's also helpful to cross reference the forum thread from the bug.

HI:  thanks for all of the great feedback -- I just wanted to make sure that you knew that a new update to the CH help app was released on April 30. This update contains many new features and enhancements, like Ctrl - F (find in page), a Home button to switch between Help content, new Search UI options including a default display of ASLR and Code Search results just for Flash and Flash Builder searches.

The Help app should auto-update the next time you launch help or alternately, you can manually update the application here:

http://www.adobe.com/support/chc/

Be sure to click Open in the installation dialog box to ensure proper configuration of the application.

We also have a dedicated Forum for questions, feedback, and feature requests for the app over here:
