    i need a little help

Basically- I am working on a site for someone else who has already created the site and I'm just making it work- the bg image is 1950 x 1669 pixels. When I place this image into dreamweaver, the image is a grey box- which obviously makes it difficult to see where I am positioning text and such. Is there a way to make this image visible? Is it possible this image is just too big? Any advice would be incredibly helpful! Thank you!!

If your bg image path is root-relative in an external css file, try
          changing it to css-file-relative.

Show us the code on your page, please. Is the image within the root folder
for the site? Which DW are you using on which OS?
