    Partial Success in Windows 7!

    JoA41 Level 1

Just to let everyone know that it is possible to create a video with

Premiere Elements 8, I just finished burning my first DVD.  After many problems I reinstalled using the Compatibility settings automatically recommended by Win 7.  Then I turned off the "enable GPU" option, which was causing many display problems.  While there are still some things that don't seem to work correctly, for the most part I am able to edit and create a video.  I wil continue to experiment with the many possible options.  I am using a laptop with intel integrated graphics updated to the latest driver, so even without the best graphics card, it worked.

Thank you to all who made suggestions that helped me.
