I am using Flash Builder 4. When I am in the default Flash perspective, and I right click on a project/folder to add something New, I am limited to the following 4 options : Project, File, Folder, and Other. If I switch to the Flash Debug perspective, I get the full 20 options : Application, Project, MXMLs, etc.
I have two separate Flash Builder installs on work/home machines - and this is only occuring on one of them. I tried an uninstall/re-install, but that did not help. Any idea what might be going on here?
When you are in the Flash perspective go to "Window" -> "Customize Perspective". In the tree expand "File" -> "New" and select the options you want.
Actually, Window -> Perspective - Reset Perspective did the trick... Im not quite sure how my perspective got all messed up... but this fixed it.
