I know plug-in like Magic Bullet Looks and the new Boris 7 have GPU accelerated FX but is it even possible for for them to make them real time using MPE? That would benifit me the most. Right now I'm not even to worried about buying a MPE card because I can edit real time already and don't need multiple layers, Also any color correction I do is done with pro plug-in's like Colorista and Magic Bullet Looks.
When upgrading to CS5, Magic Bullet Looks, Colorista etc need to be upgrade as well because the are 32 bits and wont work in a 64 bits environment.
I completely understand that. That been hammered to death that CS5 won't use old 32 bit plug-ins.
You know how not all effects are MPE accelerated.... I was wondering if 3rd party plug-in people are capable of make MPE accelerated effects. Just because they're 64bit plug-in's made for CS5 doesn't mean they are MPE accelerated at all.
I'm asking because if the plug-ins aren't MPE accelerated, there's no realtime acceration or faster rendering. From what it looks like no 3rd party plug-ins are going to be accerated by that $350+ videocard.
