    Editable Region in Template

    saintromain_j

Can someone please help. I'm not a great web designer and I'm trying to build a new site to showcase my art. I created this .html file from my .dwt (all of this was designed .dwt file even though it is a start for my index page. I'm sure you will find a ton of things wrong with this page but (unless you find something else that I will really regret down the line) all I'm really looking for is how to turn the middle section of this page into an editable region. I've been trying with no success. I think it's just a matter of putting it in the correct spot. So if anyone can tell me exactly where in the code to put the editable region. (and tags for the region would be great, but beggers can't be choosers). So "what" and "where" to put it would be ideal, but "where", is essential.

      Thank you in advance.

I appreciate the help and I will look through  those links when I get

a chance tonight. But if anyone else would like to take a crack at this, let me know if you can give me an answer specific to my issue, and not just a link about editable regions. The reson for this is because I started to design my index page before creating a new html page from the template. So I foolishly started to design my index in my .dwt file. I would like all of my pages to look like the one I created, so I'm just lookin for a way to make the middle section of this page a editable region in my .dwt file so that I can create new html pages from the template w/o loosing everything I designed.

              Thanks!

That helped me figure it out. Now, can we delete this thread? I'd rather not have the html just out in the open like this. I didn't see an option to delete. If you can that would be great.

Thanks again for all the help. Sorry to be a pain.
