Am I doing something wrong or are CSS pages supposed to look odd in Dreamweaver? For the most part they look okay, but I have to view my pages in a browser because some things aren't where I intend them to be in DW. The footer appears at the top of the page, even though in the XHTML code it is physically placed below. A logo that is supposed to be on the left appears in the middle. Am I just supposed to view them in my browser all the time instead of relying on DW's supposed WYSIWYG editor?

Design view is not 100% reliable. Much depends on the CSS layout itself. Some look better than others in DW.
If some pages look OK and others don't, validate your code and fix any reported errors. Misplaced or orphaned <tags> in your markup can cause display problems.
Thanks. I actually did validate both the CSS and XHTML. I guess it's just one of those anomalies I'll have to accept. It's easy enough to view my pages in a browser. It would just be nice if I didn't have to keep swapping windows and refreshing pages.
