The sparks look like they were created with Trapcode's Particular. But you could create that with CC Particle World too.
These particules are not included in Trapcode 3d stroke. They might have been done using Trapcode Particular, but as Szalam said, you can do something like that with the built-in particule tools in AE.
ok thanks for the info guys i saw it in after fx,so what settings do i have to use to make the cc particle world go around my logo.
i added the effect on my logo using the 3d stroke but when i added cc particle world to it,it all went to bits lol the 3d stroke disappeared.
is there a short tutorial i can see on this maybe?
yes ive seen that tutorial it is where ive dome my 3d stroke but the guy shows only how ot apply the 3d stroke not the cc particle world.
im sure when he add the cc particle world he adjusts the settings of the effect to follow the logo.
You make a new layer for the sparks; they do NOT go on the same layer as the 3d Stroke
sorry for asking but im new to after fx.
so ive made on a new solid my 3d stroke all is good ive made my start and end point and the 3d strokes follow my logo path.
so your saiying i make another solid layer and then apply the cc particle world.so i do that as well but all i see is hundreds of sparkles,i need the settings to make the sparkles follow the 3d stroke, thats what im after.if there a way i can make the cc particle to follow around the path of my 3d stroke?
You need to keyframe the producer.
You can paste a mask as a motion path. Read this.
Since you're very new to AE, I would highly recommend going to this page and going through all of the resources linked therein. It links to a bunch of great resources (including the VideoCopilot.net tutorials) that would answer all of your questions and more!
