Can some tell me if this will work please.
(Due to my NEW CS5 dedicated machine being off my premises for a few days while we change the brand of RAM over due to some issues.)
Because it will take a long time...I want to download CS5 this weekend using a spare computer at the office. I am thinking of downloading to an external HD (E-SATA)
I have already been supplied with access link to the ADOBE Volume LIcencing Site but....
I am thinking that I will download the trial then use the link later. - good idea / bad idea?
Can I install from the ext HDD or will I have to install from a local drive?
BTW - anyone got approx times that the download took.
Downloading new drops/builds during the beta was pretty time consuming and they came regularly.
I would download the full version overnight and skip downloading the trial. You can easily store the file on an external and install from there. All the drops I downloaded were stored on a network drive and installed from there to my machine. I never had any problem with that approach.
I guess then I will download the Full Version to the ext Drive via my License Link.
I wonder if that installs little hidden files that are required to be in the system to which it is intended to be run from?
In the beta cycle it did not and I doubt they would introduce such measures. Activation with your serial number is enough safety IMO.
