I upgraded After Effects CS4 into CS5. I noticed that when I was trying to export a footage in CS4, I could chose the export format file and I could also modify the codecs preferances. I don't have this ability in CS%. IN CS5, for examble, I can chose to export in Quicktime mov. format with the Animation codec, but I cannot modify the preferances. So I don't know if the settings of Animation codec is set to "Best" or "High" or "Normal" and so on.
In CS5, you cannot modify any preferances of the format you have chosen. Is there a solution for this?
CS4 is much much better in this area.
You can change your output modules and configure them using the Render Queue (as in CS4). Select your comp and press Cmd/ctrl + M or go to composition > render movie.
If that what you are doing, then you should be able to change whatever option your choosen codec have by clicking on the output module. This behavior have not changed since CS4, you shouldn't have problems.
