    Keying and moving background

      Hello,

here's what I would like to do :

      1) I record a first video with a speedometer in it. The background of this video is moving.

      2) I inlay the speedometer in a second video, but of course I get rid of its background

      Example :

A picture of the speedometer (3 digits)

I'd like to put it in another video, like this (this is a montage) ; look at the bottom-right hand corner :

Also, is there any way I could mask automatically the first zero so that it displays " 96 " instead of " 096 " (but it still displays 115, 100 etc.) ?

Thanks in advance for the help.

No. If there was an "automatic" way of doing such stuff, Hollywood movies wouldn't cost several million dollars to make and require a hundred roto artists. The rest of your description is confusing, but in simple words: Nobody would do it the way you plan on doing it. It's much easier to just record without any overlays and create all the other elements in AE.
