Yes FileReference has a save method as of Flash Player 10. Might want to make sure you are using that version.
I am using Flex 3 not Flex 4. So I cant use save() method.
_urlRequest contains for example http://abc.com/download/xyz.mp3.
When ever above code is excecuted, its starts playing instead of downloading, to the local machine.
Where I am going wrong. Or can you suggest some other way.
I am using Flex 3 and Java.
