You need to download the CUDA 3.0 drivers http://developer.nvidia.com/object/cuda_3_0_downloads.html I've got it 'working' but it's still not playing ball. Can't playback video at all. A minor set back for a video editing app.
Can I ask, what spec machine and set up you're on? Trying to get to the root of what my problem might be.
Downloading the drivers now.
2008 8-core Mac Pro
OS X 10.6.3
I assumed that the included drivers in Snow Leopard for the GTX would include the CUDA drivers to run.
Weird mine's doing this when you have virtually the same set up. 2008 Mac Pro, is that a 3,1 you have or a 4? It'll say in the About this Mac, More Info.
How's it working now that you've installed CUDA? Nice n fast?
Might try a complete system re-install, see if that helps.
Re-installing the drivers did the trick! Make sure you have the 3.0.14 drivers, not the 2.3.1a drivers.
CUDA and Mercury Playback Engine are incredible!
