Elements 8.0 bleibt beim Arbeiten oft stehen.

Leider kenne ich mich mit Premier Elements nicht aus...  hier ist eine schnelle Uebersetzung, falls jemand anders helfen kann.

If someone can help out here, I am sure it will be appreciated:

I use Elements 8.0 under win 7. When cutting the videos the program will often hang. So far I've been helping myself by having the time for the automatic saving set very short (2 min.), but it is cumbersome to always have to restart the program.

 

Who has experience with this and what could be the cause?

Yes, I agree that it is a Premiere Elements question.  I can not identify a German speaker on the Adobe Premiere Elements forum.

Here are my thoughts :

1 -- I can check at www.muvipix.com to see if I can find a German speaking person on those forums. 

2 -- Juergen or Barbara,

I think it would help if the submitter could read the German equivalent for this Adobe technical document for Premiere Elements 8 which includes discussion of the update for PE v8 as well as other actions to take for version 8 crashes (hangs). Do either of you know the correct link for German ?

Yes, I certainly will try.  I get sometimes stuck with the German terminology and I don't know Premiere Elements.  Well, I'll learn something that way... ☺  I am suggesting the Elements Village forum below.
