    Stage.height bug?

    Level 7

There seems to be a Stage.height bug in Flash CS3?

      My movie is 800x600.

However while testing my movie in Flash CS3 it returns 800 x 500!
When running SWF in Player it returns 800 x 600.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue?

          Hi --

I had a similar issue when testing a movie in CS3 where when I first ran the
movie I would get a correct value for the stage (based on my document
setting) but when I resized the movie the stage size would show as being
about 8 pixels larger than the movie actually was. When I ran the flash
movie in an HTML page it was fine.

stage.height indicates the height of the display object within it.

what you're looking for is stage.stageHeight
