    Image map spacing problem??

    poorlostsoul

      If anyone can help, I added two image maps at the top of my page in my banner and it created a small space between the banner and the navigation bar. I haven't been able to figure out how to elminate it.

      This is what the code looks like:

      <img src="assets/mainBar/new_main_bar7.gif" width="791" height="132" border="0" usemap="#Map" />
      <map name="Map" id="Map">
        <area shape="rect" coords="308,81,368,128" href="#http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/" target="_blank" alt="Link to Trek bicycles" />
        <area shape="rect" coords="403,76,530,129" href="#http://fisherbikes.com/" target="_blank" alt="Link to Gary Fisher bicycles" />
      </map>
      <table width="791" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
        <tr>

      When I didn't have the image maps it looked fine and the code looked like this:

      <img src="assets/mainBar/new_main_bar7.gif" width="791" height="132" border="0" usemap="#Map" />
      <table width="791" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
        <tr>

      Is there a way to elminate the small gap that was created?
