how do you put videos in?

    lizard81288 Level 1

I downloaded some FLVs and used the FLV video option, but when I checked it on an FTP (chnaged it to http to preview it), nothing but a big white line where the video is supposed to be. Which I can assume, it’s because its not supported in newer browsers, anyway since I Have all these FLVs, and the flash video IIRC doesn’t play them, is there another why to use the FLVs? (I’m using CS4)

          1) Put FLV files into your local site folder.  I typically put mine into a MEDIA folder.

          2) In DW > Insert Media > Flash Video > Progressive Download.

          3) Browse to the Folder/FLV file in your local site.

          4) Choose a player skin and any other parameters.  When done, hit OK.

          5) Upload the player page, images, SWF, Scripts folder and FLVs to your web server.

If it doesn't play as expected,

Post a URL to your test page.

Contact your host to confirm that FLV and SWF MIME-types are enabled on your server.
