    replace members

      Hi

I export the swa files as mp4 (using the mixer) and than import them. The size becomes about 10 times smaller which is great for my needs. The problem now how can I replace to old swa members with the new mp4 members?

      Thanks

That depends on whether you have used them in the score or are playing them via Lingo. If the former then use Ctrl + E in the authoring environment, if the latter then ensure they have the same name before deleting the original.

the sound member has presentation on the audio channel and it has also cue points so i assume it is manipulated by lingo. it seems like i cant exchange the original with the mp4  because (cmd + E). i import the audio as mp4 and the original is a sound member.

if i try the name them the same as you suggested the next audio takes the place of the deleted original in the score window.

what to do...and also i export the swa via the mixer...can mp4 preserve the cue points?

            Thanks

              Not that I'm aware of.
