I have just installed the CS5 Upgrade from CS4 and am wondering about what to do with the CS4 version which is still installed and operative. I have found out how to convert the old CS4 projects to CS5 and intend to convert all of the projects to CS5. I would like to uninstall the CS4 version but I don't know if the upgrade version of CS5 is fully stand alone now or whether it still must have CS4 installed for some reason. If I uninstall CS4 what unintended consequences will I find and will it remove any files required by CS5. Any guidance?
It doesnt do any harm to leave it installed.
Thanks, I assumed as much but don't
need both of them and just wanted to reclaim the disk space. However, I don't
want to remove something that will affect my use of CS5.
Before you uninstall CS4 make sure you De-activate it; in case you ever need to reinstall on another computer.
