I am dynamically creating textframes in my Indesign script. While creating the textframes, am setting the geometric bounds for it. But the height of the textframe is set to 0.0417 even if i set the value as lesser than that. If i set a value higher than 0.0417, then the height is set to the selected value.
I want to know how to reduce this min-height.
Please help me in resolving this issue.
0.0417 -- you don't say, but that's in inches, probably. It comes down to 3 pt, or just over 1 mm, which sounds like a very small value for a text box. It's the same value for tables, so it must be by design -- i.e., put in there by the programmers and not something the user can or should change.
Why would you ever want a text frame even smaller than that? You can make it as large as you want and just put in very small text.
Text frames must indeed be at least 3 points high and wide. If you want to use smaller frames, use rectangles, which can be any size.
