    Scrolling Issues

    tehxike1 Level 1

      I want my application to take up as much width/height as possible, but have a minimum height as well.  If the user resizes the application below this height, I want scroll bars to appear.  I thought I could do this with this code, but it doesn't work at all:

      <s:Scroller width="100%" height="100%">
          <s:Group id="contentGroup" width="100%" height="100%" minWidth="0" minHeight="700"/>
      </s:Scroller>

      I can set minHeight to be anything, and there's never a difference.  What do I need to do to pull this off?

          Hi,

          It seems as though the calculations take the Group's content minHeight into account. I havn't looked at the implementation but, the below does produce scrollbars.

              <s:Scroller width="100%" height="100%">
                  <s:Group id="contentGrdoup" width="100%" height="100%" minWidth="0" >
                      <s:Button width="100%" height="100%" minHeight="200"/>
                  </s:Group>
              </s:Scroller>

          What does this mean? You need to se the minHeight on the content of the group, not the group itself.

            Thanks- that got it for me.  Seems weird to need an extra level to make minHeight work.
