Calling DoScript from an application (in C++ code) on Windows

I am looking for a way to execute scripts in After Effects from my application (which is NOT After Effect plug-in).

Now, on Mac I can create an apple event and execute it (calling ::AECreateAppleEvent, ::AESend) and even get the reply too (using ::AEGetParamDesc)

On Windows, I would exect an equivalent in COM Interface, but I couldn't find it.

In Photoshop, for example, I import the ScriptingSupport.8li to my project, and I can then call

Photoshop::_ApplicationPtr::DoJavaScript() (Its defined in the ScriptingSupport.tlh which is extracted from the library upon compilation).

How can I do the same in After Effects?

      Thanks in advance!
