How did you check the color mode?
I just used the Color Convertion to destination, Working RGB.. and it worked.
But there is still a problem, Without this option enable, I don't always get the same result. I never used this option before and I never had this issue.
I was comparing the PDF file and illustrator.
The change was in a plain green background. When I switched to CMYK in illustrator, the two green were similar, aslo the Black turn brownish on the PDF file.
Depending on the application you use to open the PDF, color management may be used to display it. In Acrobat (not the Reader) for example the PDF looks as if it were CMYK, you have to use Preflight tools to really check the color mode. So simply by looking at it you won't know.
Im using Acrobat to read it (not reader)... I just look at preferece option and there is an option for color management.
I just found that weird that suddently pdf color outout werent the always same as my artwork.
