I'm not too keen on publishing pages via Dreamweaver--I simply do the coding of the page
by hand and preview it using a browser and then use an FTP program to upload the page and the associated images to the website server. What methods are you using to publish? Can you get your hands on an FTP program like Firefox's free FireFTP software and create relative links in your html and copy the exact site structure to your server via the FTP program? If you do that will the changes show up on the new web page?
Starting on line 215 of your code, you have this:
<tr> <td height="338"><div align="center"> <p class="style11">CLICK TO VIEW SLIDESHOW!</p> <p><a href="slideshow.html"><img src="images/slideshowpic.JPG" width="347" height="223" border="0"/></a></p> </div> </td> </tr>
Try changing it to this:
<tr> <td height="338" style="text-align:center"> <p class="style11"><a href="ss.html">CLICK TO VIEW SLIDESHOW!</a></p> <p><a href="ss.html"><img src="images/slideshowpic.JPG" width="347" height="223" border="0"/></a></p> </td> </tr>
Save. Upload page to server along with ss.html page. Hit refresh in your browser.
Thank you both for the quick responses but it's still not working. I use CuteFTP to publish. I just made changes to home page and published ok, but when I tried the code for the link, saved and published both the home and the ss.html, it still didn't work (but it worked when I previewed it in Dreamweaver). I had to change the navigation buttons on the left side and I noticed I had to delete them and reinsert them to make the links because when I chose Change Link, it wouldn't. I even tried changing the name of the slideshow thinking that might have been the problem.
Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
